The follow format should be used as a guide to preparing each application.

  • - Current occupation and employer

  • - When did you become a financial member of NZ Society of Animal Production?

  • - Describe (up to 1 page of A4) the purpose for which a grant would be used (including an assessment of the benefits resulting from your project).

  • - Summarise (up to 1 page of A4) your achievements/involvement in agriculture, agricultural extension, science etc., and in the Society’s activities over the last 5 years.

  • - Briefly detail any other award or funding which you have received from the Society.

  • - Financial

    • Amount sought $

    • Breakdown of costs

    • Details of other financial support

  • - Nominate 2 referees to whom the Management Committee may refer. (Note Clause 5h)

  • - Agree to provide reports of the activities supported by the Awards. These may be progress reports each 6 months, plus a final report on completion of the project; or a technical report with a summary suitable for use in the Society’s Newsletter. These reports will be forwarded to the Secretary of the Society as prescribed in the letter specifying conditions of Award acceptance.

  • - Provide written confirmation that the objectives of this application have been approved or endorsed by your employer.
