The New Zealand Society of Animal Production Conference was held in Rotorua in early November 2023. It was hosted through a joint conference with The New Zealand Grasslands Association and the New Zealand Agronomy Society. It was a great conference that again highlighted the synergies between the groups.  The theme of the conference was  "The land, the water, the people. This is Rotorua" with a focus on considering land use change in the region including the challenge of farming with changing environmental regulations.
